It’s that time of year again as the ever popular Open Cellars of Nillumbik for Spring 2019 is coming up in a few weeks time.

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October, 12 of the small boutique wineries of the western Yarra Valley will be open all weekend. Come and visit some of the closest wineries to Melbourne CBD from Kangaroo Ground out through to Panton Hill and St Andrews. Of course if you are heading out through Eltham, Kings of Kangaroo Ground can be one of the first on your visit list, as we are only 10 minutes drive past Eltham station.

For Kings of Kangaroo Ground it’s also new release weekend and this year the following wines are officially released on Open Cellars weekend:

    • 2018 “Thirteeen 31” Pinot Noir
    • 2017 KG Red (Cabernet Shiraz blend)

We will be running some special deals for the weekend and there will also be a big accolade announcement over the weekend which we can only talk about to visitors at the event. So you will just have to drop in and find out what that is all about.
